Bizarre parachute glitch ruins Warzone players landing

A bizarre, yet hilarious glitch has appeared in Call of Duty: Warzone and it is extremely disruptive when trying to parachute onto the map.

Call of Duty: Warzone has quite the history of game-breaking glitches, causing varying degrees of issues for players. These glitches include the very disruptive stim glitch, and the frustrating wall breach bugs.

Newest to the show is the introduction of a parachute glitch that leaves players in a state where they descend slowly to the ground, unable to do anything but watch. While annoying, the glitch is also hilarious, putting the character in a warped animation state that resembles the thriller dance.

You can watch footage of the bug below, posted by a Redditor. The bug itself seems to be based on the parachute getting forced in an odd direction, resulting in the character appearing tangled in the strings.

While this bug would be frustrating for any players stuck in it, it is worth noting this is the first we’ve seen of this particular issue. It also doesn’t help that the clip has minimal context, so it very well could be the result of a connection issue with the original poster.

Considering the game doesn’t appear to be lagging at all, it may be safe to assume this is a legitimate bug in Warzone. We think its highly unlikely you’ll run into this yourself, but if you do, don’t hesitate to tweet us some footage @CharlieIntel.

Best case scenario, the laughs end here and Raven Software patches this in the next update. We’ll be sure to report if more players begin to run into this bug.
