Bizarre Warzone Stim glitch lets you escape executions

Executions let players eliminate Warzone enemies in style, but a new glitch involving the Stim Shot lets your opponents cancel the animation and flee to safety.

Warzone Pacific’s Season 1 update brought a buff to Stim Shots back in December 2021, granting them a speed boost that players could use to Stim Super Slide while regenerating health during battles.

Now, Warzone players seem to have discovered another new use for Stim Shots in the form of a bizarre glitch that allows you to cancel your enemy’s execution animation and make your escape.

Executions in Warzone lock both players in an animation that only comes to an end after the target has been killed. However, Reddit user ‘SilentEnigma09’ posted a clip showcasing how Super Stims can help you skip this altogether.

The 43-second video was a dual-screen showing the perspectives of the Redditor and an enemy attempting to perform an execution. SilentEnigma09 used a Stim Shot on themself as soon as the finisher animation began.

This caused the execution to be interrupted, and the Redditor was able to make their escape. It’s currently unclear whether or not this glitch is a side-effect of the Stim Shot buff back in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Many of the commenters were glad the Redditor highlighted this exploit, as one user wrote: “I literally have been trying to figure out how a guy got out of being executed recently. Thanks for sharing this find.”

Performing this exploit is extremely difficult as you would need to know exactly when you’re going to be executed and then use a Stim Shot at the right time. We don’t expect many players to use this frequently, so it remains to be seen whether or not it will be removed in an update.
