Black Ops 3 PC Mod Tools now in Closed Alpha, invites being sent out this week

Treyarch has announced that they have begun sending out invites to community members to access the Closed Alpha of the Mod Tools, coming to the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. 

Preparing the tools for this kind of release takes an incredible amount of testing and iteration. We’re excited to have reached this milestone and to be able to provide the participants of our Closed Alpha this version of the Modding Tools to help us test them and lay the foundation for an Open Beta. Once we are able to analyze the results of the Closed Alpha, it’s our intention to kick off the subsequent Open Beta stage of testing in the following months.

Select community members will receive invites to access the Closed Alpha. An open beta of the tools is also planned to occur in the months ahead, but no release date has been provided.
