Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be published by first party in Japan – UPDATE

UPDATE: Microsoft Japan has clarified that they will also be publishing Black Ops 3 in Japan on Xbox One and Xbox 360. However no confirmation on the beta in Japan has been announced. 

Sony Entertainment Asia today announced that they are partnering with Activision Publishing to deliver Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to the Japan market. Sony announced that PlayStation players in Japan will be able to Black Ops 3 on PS4 starting November 6th.

Sony has also stated that they will be publishing Black Ops III on PS3 as well in Japan, but not on November 6th. It will be available at a later date.

Sony Japan will work with Activision to also offer the Black Ops 3 beta in Japan for all PlayStation 4 owners, starting August 19th and ending August 23rd. Players in Japan will be able to download the beta without a code starting on August 19th.

In addition, DLC will also be available for Japan players upon the launch of each map pack.
