Sony PlayStation has announced new information on the PlayStation Plus Collection for PlayStation® 5.

This new feature is a free addition to all PlayStation Plus subscribers who get a PlayStation 5. It allows PS5 players to experience a collection of games from the PS4 generation, immediately at launch for no additional charge.

This Collection was first announced during PlayStation’s September event, and listed a selection of games from both Sony’s own studios and 3rd party publishers. The list, intially, did not include any Call of Duty games.

Now, PlayStation has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – Zombies Chronicles Edition is included with the PlayStation Plus Collection.

The Black Ops III Zombies Chronicle Edition includes:

Call of Duty®: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Edition includes the full base game and the Zombies Chronicles content expansion.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III combines three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever.

All games as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection will be available to play immediately on your PS5 console, as long as you have an active PS+ membership.

Here’s the list of PlayStation Plus Collection games:

From Worldwide Studios:

  • Bloodborne
  • Days Gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • God of War
  • Infamous Second Son
  • Ratchet and Clank
  • The Last Guardian
  • The Last of Us Remastered

Sony also says that games as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection will be “enhanced” with PS5 Game Boost, which provides improved loading speeds and stable frame rates.

The PlayStation Plus Collection will be an added benefit to the existing PS4 benefits that PlayStation Plus members receive for a single subscription price – no additional membership fee required. Once you redeem a game from the PlayStation Plus Collection, you can keep the games for as long as you are an active PlayStation Plus member. PS4 games redeemed from the PlayStation Plus Collection and played on the PS5 console will see benefits such as increased loading speed and improved or more stable frame rates with PS5’s Game Boost.
