Black Ops 4 Blackout features special chests that have gold guns
GameInformer’s cover story on Blackout teases some first details on how special chests work in the new Battle Royale mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
In some matches of Blackout, Special Chests will spawn at set locations in the map that will give players Gold Guns, which are modified versions of standard weapons that come pre-equipped with augments and enhancements for the weapon.
GameInformer mentioned in their story that they received a gold Titan LMG from the chest in Estates location on the map.
One of the things GameInformer mentioned is that special chests do not spawn in every game; it will randomly occur for each game, but the location they will appear at does not change if they do spawn in.
