The LC10 has been one of the best weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War since it was introduced in Season 2, and Treyarch Studios has confirmed that it will be getting some tweaks during Season 5.

Various weapons have been added to the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War since it was first released, with the LC10 SMG being added in Season 2.

Since the LC10 debuted in Black Ops Cold War, it has become one of the most powerful weapons in the first-person shooter thanks to its ability to dominate battles at all ranges with low recoil and hard-hitting power.

However, a large portion of the community has been calling for the LC10 to get nerfed, as they believe it is way too good and needs to be adjusted to avoid it from being overpowered. Seeing this feedback, Treyarch Studios recently confirmed that the LC10 SMG would indeed be getting some adjustments when Season 5 launches.

In the Season 5 announcement blog post for Black Ops Cold War posted by Treyarch Studios, the development studio stated the following:

“We’ve also got a new round of weapon tuning coming for a selection of assault rifles and SMGs, including some new tweaks for the LC10.”

This statement means that players can expect to see some major changes come to the Assault Rifles and SMGs of Black Ops Cold War.

However, the specific mention of tweaks coming to the LC10 means that Treyarch has heard the feedback from players regarding the powerful nature of the LC10 and will be working to adjust this SMG.

The development studio has not yet provided exact details for what these LC10 changes will be in Season 5, but they will be provided in the official patch notes for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 5 update that will go live on August 12, 2021.

With the LC10 being a major topic of discussion in the Black Ops Cold War community, there is no doubt that plenty of players will be excited to see what exactly Treyarch has planned for the future of this SMG.
