Cold War devs respond to “Connection Interrupted” errors making the game unplayable
Black Ops Cold War players have been reporting that the game is completely unplayable due to server issues across all platforms and the devs have issued a response.
With cross-progression available across Modern Warfare, Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard, many still prefer to play the older games as they can still level up weapons and rank up the Season 2 Battle Pass.
Modern Warfare has been having issues ever since Warzone integrated with Vanguard, but Black Ops Cold War players have been reporting that the game is unplayable because of “Connection Interrupted” issues and server disconnects.
‘This_DrummerPSN’ has been hit with “Connection Interrupted” issues on “every match” of Nuketown 24/7, and the comments reveal they’re not alone. One user said they disconnected four times over an hour and a half, and another said it’s been on “every game mode, all day.”
‘Rakoz’ reported the same issues in another post, saying they also received the dreaded “Connection Interrupted” pop-up ten times in a row, and restarting their PC and modem didn’t fix it.
After hours of non-stop player complaints, Treyarch finally responded on Twitter stating that they are aware of the problem and are actively working on a fix.
Treyarch urges players to remain patient as they attempt to determine the cause of the issue. Keep an eye on their social channels and Activision’s server status page for any updates that may follow.
