Activision Blizzard has announced news on when fans can expect Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone integration.

During the company’s Q3 results call, Activision Blizzard Chief Operator Officer has announced that Black Ops Cold War’s first season will arrive in December.

As part of the game’s first season launch, Black Ops Cold War & Warzone integration will then take effect. This will allow players to bring Black Ops Cold War weaponry & operators to Warzone.

This means that Activision is focusing on Black Ops Cold War’s three core modes – Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies – for the title’s launch on Friday, November 13.

“Black Ops Cold War’s in-game content will be centered around the same in-game system that resonated so well with players in Modern Warfare,” said Activision Blizzard COO Danial Alegre.

And starting with first season of in-game content in December, Black Ops Cold War will be integrated into Warzone. We’ll bring Black Ops Cold War characters and weaponry into the free to play experience, along with substantial new content ensuring that Warzone remains both the terrific experience and a powerful on-ramp for the franchise’s premium content.

Activision also announced that Black Ops Cold War will follow Modern Warfare’s monetization system. The game will feature a new Battle Pass system, with weapons earnable through free tiers, and more. This new system started with Modern Warfare with the elimination of the Season Pass.

Activision says that Black Ops Cold War’s first season will bring substantial new content for the game, alongside integrating Call of Duty: Warzone.
