Analysis shows time-to-kill didn’t change from Alpha to Beta in Black Ops Cold War
A piece of feedback that has dominated both Reddit and parts of Twitter on Black Ops Cold War’s beta is change to the way the time to kill, also referred to as TTK, feels.
Players have been reporting extensively on Reddit that they feel that TTK is ‘bad’ now. One post went further, calling Treyarch out for ‘sneaking in’ changes without telling anyone.
Now, well known Call of Duty YouTuber XclusiveAce has posted his analysis and has showed something which has stunned some people. There are no changes to TTK in the Beta.
Based on his investigation, it looks like the way players are connecting to games, and how the net code works, is causing some players to feel a chance in the TTK.
The actual values of TTK has not changed.
You can watch in his new video how he explains that the TTK values appear to be the same for the Beta for each weapon class. But there’s something up with the net code in the Beta causing users to feel somethings to be…off.
XclusiveAce shared this graphic after the Alpha, revealing his analysis of the TTK values for certain weapons in Black Ops Cold War.
Treyarch has not commented on the excessive Reddit threads about this change or why this feels different for players.
We’ll update as we get more information on this or if the studio comments.
