Aydan explains how BOCW’s Ghost can stop Warzone campers

Call of Duty streamer, Aydan Conrad, believes that the Ghost perk in Black Ops Cold War is well handled. He feels it should be implemented into Warzone in order to discourage camping.

Avoiding detection is a valuable skill in Call of Duty multiplayer matches. Your chances of winning are increased if the enemy doesn’t see the attack coming. If you value a stealthy approach, then there’s a handy perk that can assist you.

The Ghost perk in Modern Warfare and Warzone makes you completely invisible to enemy UAVs and Heartbeat sensors. The Black Ops Cold War version has the same benefit but only when you’re moving. This makes campers detectable – even with the perk equipped.

Call of Duty streamer, Aydan Conrad, went on the CharlieIntel Podcast where he discussed what he thinks of the newest title in the franchise. He took the opportunity to go on record and say that he loves the way the Ghost perk functions in BOCW.

In fact, he’s such a fan that he wants to see this integrated into Warzone. You can hear it from the man himself, below.

The former Fortnite pro and Warzone player has a lot of experience with Call of Duty titles and Battle Royale games. He made it clear that he prefers how the Ghost Perk works Black Ops Cold War and wants to see this implemented elsewhere.

I really like how [Black Ops Cold War] has Ghost: it only works if you’re moving,” he said. “So if you’re camping in a corner, Ghost won’t work. I think that might be a great addition.”

He elaborated that this is because it gets annoying when someone is camping, and you can’t detect them – which is understandable since this tends to slow down the game while you play hide-n-seek with your opponent. Keeping them on the move would make the match much livelier.

Ayden isn’t the first player to complain against campers. A lot of Warzone fans would rejoice if this change were implemented. We may see Activision rework the Ghost perk this way since they already confirmed that Warzone would be integrated for Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War.
