Black Ops Cold War to feature Season Challenges

As part of an extended blog post announcing the Progression system for Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch has provided info on a new feature: Season Challenges.

The full blog post, which features detailed info on the new Prestige system, has shared that Black Ops Cold War is adding challenges every season.

The new Challenges arrives in December with Season One. These challenges provide players a path to earn new rewards throughout the duration of the Season.

Season Challenges will offer fans to unlock two sets of 20 Calling Cards each season in Black Ops Cold War. There’s 20 for MP and 20 for Zombies.

Collecting all the Calling Cards will unlock an animated Season Master Calling Card.

Also beginning in Season One, new Season Challenges will provide even more ways to earn rewards throughout each Season. These will offer two collections of 20 Calling Cards per Season in Black Ops Cold War (20 for Multiplayer and 20 for Zombies), with new Challenges ungated in both collections at every 10 levels up to level 200.

Once a Season Challenge is un-gated, it may be progressed and completed to earn its related Calling Card. After a player earns all Calling Cards in a collection, they will receive an animated Season Master Calling Card as a reward. Collect ‘em all!
