Raven Software has confirmed that Black Ops Cold War’s Dark Aether camos and Gunsmith Customs will be making their way to Call of Duty: Warzone.

For Black Ops Cold War Zombies players, the Dark Aether camo is a true mark of skill and perseverance, with players tasked with unlocking every skin for every weapon, in every class.

After going through all that effort, it’s no surprise that players wanted to be able to rock their Dark Aether camos in Warzone, something that so far has been impossible.

However, the studio’s creative director Amos Hodge has confirmed that the team is hard at work on bringing support for Dark Aether camos to Call of Duty: Warzone.

Treyarch first promised that support for these camos would arrive back in their Season 1 announcement blog post, but information on introduction has been minimal every since.

Raven has finally confirmed they plan to bring official support for Dark Aether camos to Warzone, but admitted that the studio would need more time to make it happen.

Hodge explained that there is “a lot of work” still to be done in bringing Cold War’s Zombies camos to Warzone weapons because of the differences in how some weapons look and feel once those camos are applied.

Raven also has confirmed they want to bring support to create and use Black Ops Cold War Gunsmith Customs weapons into Call of Duty: Warzone. Currently, Warzone only supports the feature with Modern Warfare weapons.

Hodge stated that the team “will get there” with these features but more time is needed to ensure they’re brought to life.

Unfortunately, Hodge didn’t provide a release date or a timeline for these features, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as the information becomes available.
