Dead silence returns as Ninja in Black Ops Cold War. 

Ninja Perk, in the alpha build, is a Perk 3 selection. 

Infinity Ward dropped Dead Silence as a perk in Modern Warfare in 2019 and added it in as a Field Upgrade, which upset many fans who like using it as a perk itself. 

Treyarch is bringing it back now, per the alpha build of the game, as fans have requested its return. 

According to the perk’s description, it says the perk will let you “sprint more quietly” which is a bit interesting as previous iterations were fully silent while walking and sprinting.
