How to Pack-a-Punch fast in Black Ops Cold War Zombies’ Firebase Z
Pack-a-Punching your weapons is the best way to survive the zombie onslaught in Black Ops Cold War’s Firebase Z, so here’s the fastest way to upgrade your guns.
Firebase Z is the second Zombies map to come to Black Ops Cold War, taking us to an all-new setting. As you take on wave after wave of Zombies and other ghouls in a Vietnamese village and a military Firebase, you’ll need the best weapons to ensure survival.
Using the Pack-a-Punch machine as early as possible is a great way to get your game of Zombies off to a hot start. You’ll be able to mow down hordes of the undead with ease and get your perks for the game ahead.
Here’s the quickest way to Pack-a-Punch your weapons in Black Ops Cold War Zombies’ Firebase Z.
Firebase Z Pack-a-Punch machine location
When you first load into Firebase Z, you’ll begin in an area called The Village. The Pack-a-Punch machine can be found here.
Ravenov will be marked with a waypoint indicator, so go and talk to him and you’ll find the Pack-a-Punch machine beside his office on the left. As there is no power yet, the machine won’t be useable.
How to turn on Firebase Z power
To use the Pack-a-Punch machine, you must first turn on the power.
Take the portal that’s marked with a waypoint to the Firebase, and head towards the Aether Reactors to turn the power on.
Glowing Dark Aether arrows will direct you towards these Reactors. You’ll need to accrue some points to do this as you need to buy your way through the barriers to get to them.
After you spend 500 points to turn on the first Reactor, you’ll be tasked with defending the Collection Units from a wave of Zombies. Once the wave has been defeated, move on to the other two Reactors and repeat the process.
Once you have switched on all three Reactors, the whole map will have power. Head back to the portal you took from the village, go through it, and speak to Ravenov again.
The Pack-a-Punch will now be usable, and you can upgrade any of your weapons for 5,000 points, and two more times costing up to 30,000.
