NICKMERCS shows powerful DMR Warzone Season 1 loadout
Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff showed off his loadout for the DMR in Warzone, which gives the gun a major buff, while making up for the recent nerf that it received.
The DMR has received various nerfs throughout its history in Call of Duty: Warzone, but it remains one of the fastest killing guns in the game. While it’s not as powerful as it used to be, it’s still a great weapon choice in Season 1.
It comes with an impressive firing, high damage, and almost precise accuracy. NICKMERCS is well aware of the DMR’s capabilities in combat, and he posted a YouTube video in which he recommended a specific loadout for the weapon.
NICKMERCS’ DMR Warzone loadout
Nick’s new DMR loadout is quite different post-nerf It’s designed to compensate for the weapon’s recent changes, and to give some major boosts to the damage that it can dish out in combat.
He makes use of the following attachments:
- Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
- Barrel: 16.3” Titanium
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
- Ammunition: 30 Rnd Speed Mag
The Infantry Compensator and 16.3” Titanium barrel, are the newest additions to his loadout. The former minimizes the DMR’s vertical recoil so that you don’t have to worry about aiming problems when firing continuously.
Meanwhile, the 16.3” Titanium barrel and Field Agent Foregrip will further improve the gun’s already impressive rate of fire. This will complement the improved recoil control so that you’re able to fire a lot longer.
The Axial Arms 3x is one of the most useful Black Ops Cold War sights in the game, so you’ll be able to use this optic to engage your foes in different types of combat. This will make the DMR ideal for long, medium, and short-range battles.

He capped off the loadout with the 30-round Speed Mag, which will reduce the DMR’s reload time while providing you with enough ammo to continuously dish out pain to your opponents.
NICKMERCS was able to score 20 kills in a single game with this loadout equipped, so it’s definitely worth trying out. It’s clear why the DMR is still one of the most widely picked weapons in Warzone, even after the nerfs it received.
