Treyarch dev responds to Black Ops Cold War preview gun bug
Treyarch Studios has officially responded to the community regarding a frustrating bug that prevents players from previewing their gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The latest installment in the high-profile Call of Duty franchise in Black Ops Cold War has been met with plenty of positive and negative feedback in the same way most games are received.
While players have praised the setting, gunplay, and movement, one of the frustrating aspects of the game has been various bugs that prevent players from doing certain things.
One of the most recent bugs of this nature is one that prevents Black Ops Cold War players from properly previewing their weapons in the gunsmith. However, a member of the game’s development studio, Treyarch Studios, has responded to this issue brought to light by the community.
Community member starless_salmon brought this preview gun bug up on the official subreddit for Black Ops Cold War by posting a video showing the player being unable to preview their weapon in the gunsmith.
Every time the player tried to preview their gun, they were met with an error message.
This led to a community manager from Treyarch Studios responding to the player and state that the studio is aware of this preview gun bug that is affecting Black Ops Cold War, so it seems that Treyarch is likely already working on a fix for this frustrating problem.
Previewing weapons has become a popular thing for players with the introduction of the gunsmith feature that has been in Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War, so not being able to use this feature properly is no doubt annoying for players.
Luckily, it looks as though a fix for it will be coming sometime in the future, as Treyarch is aware of the problem and wants the community to know it.
