Warzone & Black Ops Cold War players want exciting Halo Infinite Battle Pass feature added
The highly anticipated Halo: Infinite has a unique new Battle Pass system proving popular with fans, so Warzone and Black Ops Cold War players are asking the developers to try something similar.
Halo: Infinite’s multiplayer reveal gave us a close look at the brand-new Battle Pass system that comes with a unique feature. It will not expire at the start of a new season, so you’ll be able to play through it later.
This means that you won’t have to worry about a time limit when unlocking cosmetics. This was so well-received that Apex Legends fans asked Respawn for something similar. Now, Warzone and Cold War players are doing the same.
Reddit user Samsung_Castellanos posted in the Black Ops Cold War subreddit, asking the developers to take inspiration from Halo: Infinite’s new Battle Pass system.
The player urged the developers to introduce a system that allows players to go back and complete previous Battle Passes. This way, players who join the game during Season 5 won’t miss out on cosmetics from Season 4.
“I feel as though [Battle Passes] should be a permanent access,” wrote the user. “Or allow older battle-passes to come back, and be worked on to truly feature a 100% Completion.”
While this seems like a great system, many of the commenters were quick to point out how unlikely it is that we’ll ever see something similar implemented in either Black Ops Cold War or Warzone.
“[It’s] unlikely to happen, especially with cod points being in them,” wrote one user. “Only way I see it happening is if the old ones cost more.”
Despite this, the commenters made it clear that they’d still love to see a system like this implemented in the Call of Duty franchise one day.
