As announced earlier, there will be a Beta for Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode coming this September, first on PlayStation 4.

In a new tweet, Call of Duty has confirmed that the Blackout Beta will work similar to that of the MP Beta — the Blackout Beta is a private beta on consoles and will require a pre-order in order to play the private beta. If you already pre-ordered and get access to the MP Beta, then you will get access to the Blackout Beta once it becomes available.

Similar to the PC MP Beta, the PC Blackout Beta will be an open beta and there will be early access for those who pre-purchase Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PC.

More information, including the dates, for the Blackout beta will be coming soon. Stay tuned.
