Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the best selling title in the US in November 2014
NPD Group has released the numbers for November 2014, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the best selling title in the US for the month of November.
Here’s the top 10 titles from November, US sales only (the console order listed in the parenthesis next to each game is representative of the best-selling to worst-selling SKU for each game):

- Grand Theft Auto V (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3)
- Super Smash Bros. (NWU, 3DS)
- Madden NFL 15 (360, XBO, PS4, PS3)
- Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (3DS)
- Far Cry 4 (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3, PC)
- Pokemon Omega Ruby (3DS)
- NBA 2K15 (PS4, 360, XBO, PS3, PC)
- Assassin’s Creed: Unity (PS4, XBO, PC)
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection (XBO)
In terms of console sales, Xbox One finally beat out the PlayStation 4’s 10 month streak to become the best selling console in the month of November in the US and UK. Microsoft released this statement to IGN:

And we are amazed by the excitement Xbox fans have shown to start off this holiday. November set a new record for sales of Xbox One, and Xbox One was the best-selling console in the US and UK. Response to the holiday lineup of games on Xbox One was incredible, with Xbox One fans buying more games in November in the U.S. than any other gen eight platform and enjoying over 357 million hours of gameplay globally. In fact, more fans logged into Xbox Live across Xbox One and Xbox 360, and enjoyed more entertainment, than any other month in the history of Xbox. We love to see the excitement from our fans and are grateful for their passion, support and contributions to the Xbox community.
Earlier today, Sony released the PSN digital store charts, with Advanced Warfare coming in at #2 on PlayStation 4, and #1 on PS3. Activision already confirmed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the biggest entertainment launch of 2014.
