Metro UK posted a new short interview with Call of Duty movie director, Stefano Sollima, after speaking with him in Milan recently.

Sollima was stated to be the Director of the upcoming Call of Duty film by Variety last week.

In this new interview with Metro UK, Sollima says he would like to have Chris Pine (Star Trek, Wonder Woman) and Tom Hardy (Mad Max) star as the lead actors in the upcoming Call of Duty film.

“I mean, I like almost everything [he’s been in]. I’m waiting for his Venom. Even in Mad Max, he was great.’

In regards to Chris Pine: ‘He’s tough, but he’s smart and he can have a sense of humour but he can [also] be in such a dramatic role,’ Sollima explained. ‘I like when you feel that an actor can play with different nuances and tone because this means they’re a good actor.’

Activision Blizzard has not commented on this latest news regarding the Call of Duty film. The company did not respond to Variety about Sollima being the director.
