Call of Duty World League Championship Group Draw and Format – VIDEO

Activision has released a brand new video providing an overview of how the Call of Duty World League Chamionship, presented by PlayStation 4 will work. The event will feature a Group Play, where each team will play all of the teams in their group. The top two teams from each group will then be play in the double elimination championship bracket.

The groups for the event will be drawn live at 2PM PDT on Monday, August 15 on Call of Duty’s YouTube Channel as part of the Group Draw Show featuring Maven, CouRage, Mr. X, and Revan.

The CWL Championship is the premier event of the year, with 32 international teams competing for their share of $2 million. Watch the tournament qualification and group format video to see how teams earned their ticket as well as the competitive structure they’ll face when the ultimate battle goes live from September 1st through 4th.
