CoD 2021 reveal in Warzone

As we wait for the official reveal of Call of Duty 2021, a new leak suggests that the game will be officially revealed inside Warzone in a future season.

We’re now at that time of year when the upcoming Call of Duty game has been officially revealed. However, with the success of Warzone and live in-game events, Activision have reconsidered how they will reveal their premium games.

For the first time ever, Black Ops Cold War was revealed inside Call of Duty, with players taking part in a live event before the trailer played. If recent leaks are to be believed, Call of Duty 2021 is set to also be revealed inside Warzone soon.

Call of Duty WWII

As with almost all modern games, several details have been leaked surrounding CoD 2021. According to Eurogamer and ModernWarzone, it will be a ‘traditional’ Second World War shooter called “Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard.” Activision haven’t revealed any details of the game, but a recent data mine could tell us when we can expect to know more.

Known Call of Duty leaker and data miner ZestyCODLeaks reported that there’s a “major event coming soon.” They said, “There is a NEW major event coming called ‘X2’ that will feature the ‘Armoured Train’ and ‘Ambushes’.”

Cold War’s reveal was in the code as ‘x1_fin’ which has led Zesty to make an “educated guess” that this will be CoD 2021’s reveal. A cutscene is reported to play after this event, which could be the official reveal trailer.

There is no evidence that the reveal will happen in Season 4, but Zesty is confident that it will be coming “soon.”

As always, you should take these leaks with a pinch of salt. Battlefield 2021’s trailer was rumored to arrive in early May, but we now understand that the game will be revealed in June.
