Activision and Treyarch have announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta on PS4 was the biggest beta ever, with the most players online, most gameplay sessions, and most hours of gameplay played out of any beta that has ever been on the PS4.

“This is about making sure we deliver to our fans the best possible game at launch,” said Rob Kostich, senior vice president and general manager of Call of Duty®, Activision Publishing. “Becoming the biggest beta on PS4 speaks to the excitement felt by gamers and the quality of work by Treyarch. And remember, this beta is just a fraction of the overall multiplayer experience and a portion of what’s coming on November 6 when the full game – spanning campaign, multiplayer and Zombies hits worldwide.”

“We’ve been looking forward to getting the game into the hands of the people that matter most – the fans,” said Mark Lamia, studio head of Treyarch. “We can’t thank them all enough for participating and providing us with invaluable feedback and data that Treyarch is already hard at work incorporating into the game for launch. Our goal is to deliver the best Day One experience possible and this beta – along with the input from our passionate community of fans – has helped position us to do just that.”

“Played by millions of PlayStation fans around the world, the response to the beta was massive and shows the strength when bringing together the best-selling console franchise with the best-selling game console,” said Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher and Developer Relations, Sony Computer Entertainment America. “Signaling an impressive start of a new era for PlayStation and this famed franchise, there was no better way to welcome Call of Duty to its new home on PlayStation 4.”

Armored Trucks removed from Warzone Season 4 as invisibility glitch returns

The powerful Armored Trucks have been removed from Warzone, as the developers work to fix a glitch the new vehicle was causing.

The Season 4 update brought the ability for Warzone players to use an extremely powerful Armored Truck. Still, a glitch the vehicle was causing has forced Raven Software to remove the Armored Trucks from the Call of Duty battle royale for the time being.

Various pieces of new content made their way into the world of Warzone with the launch of Season 4, including the addition of the MG 82 LMG, C58 Assault Rifle, and Nail Gun.

One of the biggest additions the new season brought to Warzone was the Armored Trucks that players could obtain by visiting one of the new crashed satellite locations that randomly spawn on Verdansk ’84.

However, the powerful Armored Trucks were deemed to be causing a game-breaking glitch. They resulted in Raven Software removing this vehicle from the game until a more permanent fix had been discovered.

The glitch that the Armored Warzone Trucks had been causing was an invisibility bug that was causing some players to become invisible, which had already been causing plenty of frustration for members of the community on the first day of Warzone Season 4.

Raven Software took to Twitter to announce that it had removed the Armored Trucks from Warzone for the time being, as they work to fix the invisibility glitch that arose from players using the new vehicle.

The Warzone development studio has since posted the issue on its official Trello board, where the community can keep track of the progress they are making towards fixing the particular bug or glitch listed.

While removing a piece of content due to it causing a game-breaking glitch is never an exciting moment, the community reception towards the powerful Armored Trucks with a mounted machine gun and a mobile buy station was not extremely positive.

Some players may breathe a sigh of relief that this new Season 4 vehicle is out of the game for the time being.

Warzone players are already calling for an MG 82 LMG nerf

The new MG 82 has landed in Warzone Season 4 and players are already calling for it to be nerfed due to its apparent overpowered nature.

Warzone Season 4’s new LMG, the MG 82, hasn’t been out for long, but players are already calling for it to be nerfed.

Warzone Season 4 has introduced some new weapons into the mix, along with some changes to previous ones in the patch notes.

Players seem to be content with the Verdansk map changes, Red Door fast travel system, the Armored Truck, and even the new C58 Assault Rifle. However, the same can’t be said about the new MG 82 LMG.

Season 4 brought a new Battle Pass for players to level up through and unlock various items while doing so. The developers even reduced the amount of XP needed to progress through levels this season, allowing players to gain the new items earlier.

The MG 82 is the tier 15 unlock, allowing players to experience the new LMG fairly early on. Also, some players will opt to buy a bundle with an MG 82 weapon variant to use in Warzone, which will likely have decent attachments.

Further, the MG 82 is also available in floor loot, so players have been picking it up and testing it out since the start of Season 4.

This has led to discovering how strong it can be, with players picking it up off the floor and trying it out. However, players have been complaining about the weapon over on Reddit, calling for the developers to nerf the new LMG.

One Reddit post entitled “MG82 needs to be nerfed, ASAP” by user whatwasthesound95 said:

“From what I’ve seen so far – this is the only weapon in warzone that might rival pre nerf DMR – its just disgustingly OP. For Raven talking about how they want to increase the TTK…why would they release this weapon? Balance and everything was headed in the right direction until this thing came along.”

Further, another Reddit post by kentawnwillyams also expressed the same opinion, with the title stating that the “MG82 is a joke.”

Clearly, some players aren’t happy with the new LMG, with the post above even claiming that the developers didn’t even playtest the weapon before adding it in Season 4. Players are evening saying that the floor loot versions of the weapon will “outgun anything at medium ranges with ease and get you killed before you can even react.”

This does seem to be a trend for every new season of Warzone, where one particular weapon stands out as the most overpowered in the game.

As the developers were fairly quick to nerf the AMAX, which was very dominant in Season 3, hopefully, we can also see a change for the MG 82 in the future to help the overall balancing of the Call of Duty battle royale.

Game-breaking invisibility glitch returns in Warzone Season 4

The infamous invisibility glitch has returned to Warzone in Season 4, as many players are reporting enemies that they can not see when playing.

Warzone invisibility glitch returns in Season 4

Warzone’s notorious invisibility glitch has made its return in Season 4 and is making players completely undetectable to the naked eye in the middle of a match.

CoD: Warzone Season 4 is finally upon us, and there’s a plethora of new content to explore in the latest update. This includes brand-new weapons like the C58 and MG 82, along with various weapon buffs and nerfs.

Every time a game goes through a major update, we’re bound to see a few bugs and glitches in the first few weeks. Various players have reported seeing the return of the infamous invisibility glitch.

Invisibility glitch in Warzone

Twitch streamer its_iron was trying out the new season of Warzone and was in the middle of collecting some loot from an enemy they took down right before they found themselves taking damage from seemingly nowhere.

The player initially assumed that the damage came from an airstrike but realized moments later an invisible player was shooting at them from behind. Before they could react, the hidden opponent struck them down.

This was understandably annoying to the streamer, who just replied with a sarcastic “good job, Activision.”

The kill-cam showed that the enemy player was actually right behind the streamer, yet they were somehow completely invisible. Many of the commenters also expressed their frustration at seeing this glitch return once again.

Some have formulated their own theories about why this is happening. “My theory is it’s from the new armored trucks,” wrote one user. “Same technique as what caused them in the choppers with the guns.”

There is no doubt that the return of this invisibility glitch is something the Call of Duty community was not looking forward to compared to new content like the additions of the powerful Nail Gun or the Red Doors feature.

Raven has confirmed they are investigating the issue.

Glitches of this nature are usually taken very seriously by the developers, and we hope to see them patch it soon.
