Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PC Update Patch Notes Oct. 12

Ethan Chrisp

Treyarch Community Manager has released a post on Reddit detailing changes that have been made to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PC today.

One of the big updates is that the Blackout FPS cap has been raised to 160FPS, with full un-capped support in the next few days.

We launched Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with the all-new Blackout mode at 120fps for PC players (Multiplayer and Zombies modes were both uncapped). Now we’re increasing the cap to 160fps, and in the next few days, will enable uncapped framerates.

Easter Eggs has also been enabled across all platforms in Zombies modes.

Alongside the above updates, there are several fixes as well:

  • Fixed an issue causing the Social and Settings menus to be inaccessible when spectating in Blackout.
  • Fixed an issue that caused UI elements to persist on screen when opening the Player menu at the same time as a match starting.
  • Fixed an issue causing a UI error to appear when right-clicking characters in the player account’s Personalization menu.
