MLG X Games Invitational tournament takes place this weekend
MLG and ESPN have teamed up for the second year in a row to bring Call of Duty eSports to the X Games Austin. The event takes place June 5th through the 7th and will feature Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This event serves as the Playoffs to MLG Pro League Season 2. MLG X Games Invitational features a $75,000 prize pool and 25,000 pro points.

With this being an official X Games tournament, alongside winning prize money, the top 3 teams will be awarded medals (1st = Gold, 2nd= Silver, 3rd= Bronze).

Last year, OpTic Gaming took first place with the Gold Medal prize. MLG and ESPN did not have a prize money at the X Games last year.
