In Season 8 of CoD Mobile, players can unlock the Argus Shotgun for free by reaching Battle Pass Tier 21. This lever-action Shotgun features a small hip-fire spread and is deadly accurate when players ADS, with high damage and accuracy.
Cluster Grenade
The new lethal grenade, the Cluster Grenade, is also accessible in CoD Mobile’s Season 8 Battle Pass. Players can unlock it for free upon reaching Tier 8.
This grenade detonates into smaller individual explosives over a wider area, perfect for players who are looking to clean areas inside structures.
CoD Mobile Season 8 new Kurohana Metropolis map
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 adds a new original map to its multiplayer roster called Kurohana Metropolis, a frenetic sci-fi-themed downtown area with lots of tight corners and interior spaces.
This map features a grand quantity of buildings with futuristic designs and neon signs. According to the blog, “close-quarters combat reigns here,” so if you enjoy constant action and close-distance fighting, this map will be a great option for you to play.
CoD Mobile Season 8 multiplayer updates
With CoD Mobile Season 8, the popular multiplayer mode gets a ton of substantial updates including a new featured mode, new playlists, and more.
Headquarters
After previously only being accessible in private matches, CoD Mobile Season 8 will now introduce Headquarters as a featured game mode.
When the Headquarters activates on the map, teams engage in battles to secure its capture. The defending team is unable to respawn while in control of the HQ. Once the opposing team eliminates all defenders, they can neutralize the HQ and relocate it to a new area.
Super Slide playlist
Super Slide is a new playlist that features several game modes and will allow players to perform longer movement slides.
Coastal map optimization
The CoD Mobile devs have announced that the multiplayer map Coastal will receive match flow optimization narrowing the middle road and basement. According to devs, this will “encourage a faster playstyle better suited to core Multiplayer.”
CoD Mobile Season 8 new seasonal challenges & events
Phantom Conquest event
CoD Mobile Season 8 brings the Phantom Conquest event for players to complete and earn rewards. Players will have to collect and use Phantom tokens, earned by completing multiplayer and battle royale matches.
Seasonal challenges & events
CoD Mobile Season 8 will introduce new seasonal challenges and events allowing players to get rewards like Operator skins, the Sai Melee weapon, and more.
The Sai Melee was first introduced in 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. This weapon is an innately dual-wield weapon featuring a faster attack speed at the cost of reduced damage.
