CoD Mobile to receive two more Modern Warfare weapons in Season 4
Call of Duty: Mobile will be bolstering its vast arsenal of weapons even further, bringing two more weapons from Modern Warfare to the mobile shooter.
CoD Mobile Season 4, Spurned and Burned, arrives this week. The classic Modern Warfare 3 map Dome is set to arrive, as well as a new scorestreak and Wild West-themed Operator skins. Even with all the new content, fans are keen to discover what new weapons they can use to dominate multiplayer and battle royale.
Ahead of the season, CoD Mobile’s Twitter account teased two upcoming weapons for Season 4. With the tagline, “One’s trash… is another’s treasure,” two weapons are buried in the sandy desert. Eagle-eyed fans quickly recognized these weapons as Modern Warfare and Warzone’s Mk2 Carbine and the Holger 26.
The Mk2 Carbine and the Holger aren’t the first Modern Warfare guns to arrive in CoD Mobile, with the AS VAL, Renetti, FR 5.56, and SKS now in the mobile version.
The Mk2 Carbine is the perfect fit for this Wild West-themed Season. The weapon’s described in-game as a “Highly accurate lever-action rifle. Neutralize an enemy with one well-placed round to the head or chest.” The Mk2 keeps the classic design, being extremely similar to those seen in all the best Spaghetti Westerns.
And the second weapon, the Holger 26, is a Light Machine Gun similar to CoD 4’s G36C. Although the base version is a heavy LMG, it can be modified through the Gunsmith to act as a lightweight Assault Rifle. It’s described in-game as “A versatile fully automatic 5.56mm light machine gun. Modular design can be configured for a broad range of engagements.”
These weapons are known to be quite underpowered in Modern Warfare and Warzone, so with the “One’s trash… is another’s treasure” line, players have theorized that they’ll be significantly more powerful in the mobile game.
These two weapons will likely be available as part of CoD Mobile Season 4’s Battle Pass, where you’ll also be able to earn various cosmetic goodies.
