Discord integration coming to Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 in Season 3
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 will bring a ton of new content and changes for Call of Duty fans to check out, including a Discord integration for players on PC.
The Season 2 Reloaded update brought plenty of fun new content to both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Now, players are looking ahead to the release date of the next seasonal update.
The developers have revealed exactly what’s planned for Season 3, including the return of the Intervention as well as a brand-new night vision map. There is also a new change coming for PC players.
In an official blog post going over all of the new changes that are set to arrive in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3, the developers confirmed that Discord integration will be arriving on PC.
The post did not elaborate further on what exactly this new integration will entail, and the developers stated that more information about this change will be revealed in the Season 3 update patch notes.
Players are speculating about what the Discord integration will bring to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Some believe that it will allow players to join a discord party without having to minimize the Call of Duty titles.
Others feel that it will let Discord work like the channel function that already exists in both games. This lets you invite players, kick people out, and promote within your party.
Of course, this is all speculation, and we’ll just have to wait for the official Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 patch notes to go live in order to learn more.
