Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will feature a variety of new Operators. For those on PlayStation, an exclusive Oni Operator is up for grabs, so here’s how you can obtain it.

With the reveal of various Modern Warfare 2 details at Call of Duty Next, including the new Perk system, Gunsmith, Warzone 2.0, and the DMZ mode, we also got information on a new Samurai-inspired Operator.

PlayStation retains its deal with Call of Duty despite Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, meaning exclusive content will continue for the next few years.

One of the PlayStation-exclusive pieces of content for Modern Warfare 2 includes the Hiro “Oni” Watanabe Operator, which was revealed at Call of Duty Next with an impressive trailer ahead of the multiplayer beta.

For those interested in the Oni Operator and how to get it, here’s everything you need to know.

How to get the Modern Warfare 2 Oni Operator

In order to get the PlayStation-exclusive Modern Warfare 2 Oni Operator players must pre-order MWII digitally through the PS Store and then they will get the “Oni Operator Pack” upon launch.

Oni is a “warrior and gun-for-hire who descended from a centuries-old samurai clan,” who fights to clear his “disgraced family name,” while honoring the code of the samurai.

The Call of Duty Oni Operator doesn’t just come with an awesome Japanese-inspired Samurai skin, but it also comes with a “high-level Weapon Blueprint,” and “his equipment,” which could be the two knives he’s seen holding in the trailer.
