Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 brought a brand-new Assault Rifle called the M13C, and here’s how you can unlock it.

The Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 updates brought a plethora of new content for both the battle royale and multiplayer fans.

From new Operators, and modes to MW3’s worldwide reveal event in Warzone, players have a lot to discover. Much like most seasonal updates, a variety of new guns have made their way into the games for players to experiment with, and Season 5 has been no exception.

While Season 5 Reloaded is now underway in Modern Warfare and Warzone 2, all six new weapons are now available to unlock in both games. Among these is the introduction of the M13C Assault Rifle. If you’re excited to obtain this weapon, here’s a guide on how to unlock it.

How to unlock M13C in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2

Modern Warfare and Warzone 2 players need to get 35 hipfire kills with an Assault Rifle to unlock the M13C AR.

The M13C Assault Rifle was available as a reward in MW2 and Warzone 2 once players assisted in eliminating 5 commanders in Modern Warfare 3’s reveal event called “Shadow Siege.”

Additionally, the event featured extra cosmetic rewards, such as an Emblem, Calling Card, Charm, Vehicle skin, and a Battle Pass Tier Skip.

However, the Shadow Siege event has come to an end. If you’re still looking to unlock the M13C Assault Rifle, you can do it through the in-game challenge.

Call of Duty’s blog describes the weapon as a “counterpart to the M13B,” being “versatile and hard-hitting as a main weapon or sniper support secondary.”
