Modern Warfare 2 players slam leaked NICKMERCS & TimTheTatman Operators
Modern Warfare 2 players are not pleased with the news that TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS could soon receive their very own Operators. The leaked Operators have led to players questioning the decision.
The Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded update is right around the corner with an expected arrival of May 10. According to leaks, the new update could bring some new Operators along with it.
Call of Duty often delivers new bundles that feature crossovers, and so far in Modern Warfare 2, players received the Messi, Neymar, and Pogba Operators to celebrate the World Cup.
On May 2, the devs teased the arrival of yet another superstar athlete in Kevin Durant. While we still don’t know when Kevin Durant will make his way to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, it seems this isn’t the only collaborative bundle that could make an appearance in Season 3.
Leaker TaskForceLimg (via HeyImAlaix) revealed that streamers NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman could also arrive in Season 3 Reloaded and beyond. Their names started to appear in the in-game files following the Season 3 update.
Players took to Reddit to discuss the new Operators that could soon make their way to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The general feeling amongst players was not positive, with many questioning the decision to include the two streamers.
It seems the biggest issue that players have with the NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman Operators is one of the streamer’s recent lack of interest when it comes to Call of Duty.
Modern Warfare 2 fans immediately asked, “When is the last time Nickmercs even played COD.”
At a time NICKMERCS’ Warzone streams were the pinnacle of Call of Duty content. However, the streamer has since moved to Apex Legends prior to the launch of Caldera.
“No hate to nick mercs. I know he was a part of the snd scene in the past. But activision is really trying to sell someone who has completely gone over to apex instead of someone the community would appreciate being in the game?”
The reaction to Kevin Durant’s Operator wasn’t any better, with players confused by how seemingly random it is.
As the title suggests, when it comes to integrating real-life Operators, players would love to see someone like competitive CoD legend Seth ‘Scump‘ Abner make his way to Modern Warfare 2.
Once the rumored Operators are available in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, we’ll have all the details on how to get them.
