Call of Duty: Warzone 2 players are calling for the devs to make changes to the game’s time to kill, claiming it is “absurdly fast.”

Warzone 2 has finally arrived, and the evolution of Call of Duty battle royale brings a lot of change to the free-to-play game.

As well as a brand-new map, there are also various tweaks and balance changes such as the new Backpack looting system and Ping wheel. Quality-of-life updates are always welcome, but changes to things like time to kill are often controversial.

Unfortunately, Warzone 2 players have noticed a change to the TTK, and they aren’t too happy about it. Reddit user SmithMay7 put a post in the Warzone subreddit expressing their disappointment with the TTK in Warzone 2.

The title of the post asks why the TTK is “so absurdly fast?” The OP feels that Warzone 2’s fast TTK means that they have “no chance of contesting a gunfight” if the enemy sees them first.

The user explains further in the post, saying that they are “baffled as to why they’ve drastically reduced the TTK from the previous WZ.”

The player feels that the fast TTK on Warzone 2 “encourages camping, devalues leveling up weapons and building good loadouts…and removes any skill gap.”

They aren’t the only one who feels like this either, as they’re are many comments agreeing with the OP. One commenter even said they “played a number of matches today and almost all of my gunfights were determined by who saw who first and shot first.”

However, others actually enjoy the faster TTK, as some comments express the opposite, “Why the hell should you not lose a gunfight if you’re seen first…?”

Warzone 2 is only in its first season, so it’s likely to go through a lot of changes over the seasons to come. For now, check out everything we know about Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded and the best guns to use in Warzone 2.
