Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign to be ‘traditional’ Call of Duty campaign length

In an interview with GameReactorEU, Infinity Ward’s Studio Narrative Director has given a first indication of how long Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s campaign will be.

According to the interview, the campaign will be ‘traditional’ Call of Duty campaign length, similar to past Infinity Ward Call of Duty campaign lengths. The time is subject to change, of course, as development continues of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

“We’re still working on it, and every single tweak we make to it of the difficult or anything like that can really effect the gameplay time. So we’re not actually explaining what the gameplay length is. I’ll just put it this way, its traditional Call of Duty campaign length.“

Previous Infinity Ward Call of Duty campaign times have been around 7-8 hours in length, some more than that, some less. It varies by each game and each game’s story so we will have to wait and see exactly how long Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s campaign will be.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available October 25.
