GameInformer’s cover story for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has good news for fans in regards to the servers of the game.

The story has confirmed that alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare officially supporting cross play between PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the game will have dedicated servers support for everyone.

Call of Duty has had dedicated servers in the game as the main server type for a few years now, but with Cross Play coming, it’s just as important to ensure that matches are on better server structure for fans.

A big complaint with Black Ops 4 at launch was the server tick rate was set to only 20Hz, whereas many other games have the servers at 60Hz or higher. Treyarch did eventually update the tick rate as time went on, but the experience started off very rough for fans who experience lag.
