Call of Duty Points, the in-game currency for Call of Duty, is now live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PlayStation 4. It’s available first on PS4 for 7 days period before going live on Xbox One and PC on Wednesday, November 7.

Call of Duty Points can be used for buying certain content in Black Ops 4 in MP, Blackout, and Zombies.

In MP and Blackout, Call of Duty Points can be used to buy Special Orders or tiers of current tiers in the Black Market. There’s different Special Orders, which unlock different tier streams available to unlock with Call of Duty Points. Special Orders will rotate throughout time, but Treyarch says that if you’ve activated one, you will get to keep them until you complete it. You can rotate through which orders are active for you in game. Each stream costs a different amount of Points. Once you’ve unlocked a stream, you then have to level it up through progression in game, or you can purchase the full tier stream with Call of Duty Points.

You can also directly purchase certain amount of tiers if you want too. Each tier costs 100 Call of Duty Points — so if you want a certain tier, you can get that tier with a direct purchase, but all tiers must be unlocked in order. For example, if you want the tier 200, you have to purchase every tier before that together to get that tier. You can still grind to get each tier by just playing, as well. It would theoretically cost 20,000 Call of Duty Points, which is $200, to unlock the entire Operation First Strike Content Stream. Based on additional images, once you reach Tier 200 in Black Ops 4’s Operation First Strike stream, more tiers unlock with just Reserves as rewards.

Players can get Call of Duty Points from the in-game store, or your platform’s respective store. Call of Duty Points you may have had leftover from previous Call of Duty games will be accessible and should show up in Black Ops 4 to use.

If you purchased the Digital Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition, Pro Edition, or Mystery Box Edition, you will get your bonus Call of Duty Points in-game in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Each edition came with a different amount of Points.

Call of Duty Points were first introduced in Call of Duty back in 2015 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 with its Black Market system and has since been in every Call of Duty game as a way for players to purchase Supply Drops in Call of Duty titles.
