Call of Duty Vanguard teaser

Call of Duty content creators and influencers have started receiving the new Vanguard teasers, revealing its WW2 setting ahead of its upcoming Warzone reveal.

With the launch of Warzone and Cold War Season 5, the Call of Duty 2021 rumor mill is in full swing. The title, Vanguard, as well as artwork, special editions, and an Open Beta, have all leaked ahead of the official reveal.

All signs point towards the reveal being inside Warzone, similar to Black Ops Cold War’s reveal in 2020. Now, less than a week ahead of the leaked reveal date, content creators and influencers are receiving small teaser videos.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is expected to be revealed on August 19, and Sledgehammer Games have already started the hype train, with a variety teasers being sent to CoD content creators.

Content creators around the world have received and posted the all of the teasers, confirming all four fronts of the WWII are part of the game.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Teaser – North Africa

Call of Duty: Vanguard Teaser – Eastern Front

Call of Duty: Vanguard Teaser – Western Front

The video is titled “The Western Front,” which was the WW2 theatre of war that encompassed the north and west of Europe, including France, Germany, and the Netherlands.

One thing that players immediately noticed is a badge that resembles Modern Warfare’s Task Force 141. But instead, it appears to read: “Task Force Vanguard.”

All four of these trailers were then combined and officially released on August 16 in the form of the official teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard that you can find below:

This teaser trailer also confirmed that players will get to see the official reveal for the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise on August 19 during the Battle of Verdansk Warzone event.

Locations teased for Call of Duty: Vanguard

The first five-second video takes place in a forest, with German-issue helmets, stick grenades, and a sign saying ‘attention’ in German. There’s also a sign for ‘Merville’ being 10 kilometers away, which likely teases the Battle of Merville Gun Battery which took place in France after the Normandy landings in 1944.

While this teaser doesn’t reveal much yet, we’re likely to receive more details and locations once more teasers have dropped. We’ll keep this post updated with all of the teaser videos from content creators.

Warzone end game cinematic teaser

Players have also begun to spot a new teaser for Vanguard at the end game cinematic for Warzone matches where the winning team is seen taking a zipline into a helicopter to escape the gas.

The teaser shows the last member of the winning team start to take the zipline into the helicopter to only get shot and fall to their death. The camera then switches to show a woman sniper that appears to be from the era of World War II bolting a sniper rifle from behind cover.

You can check out the new teaser in the video below:

There are sure to be plenty of more teasers regarding Call of Duty: Vanguard revealed in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back here for all of the latest ones.

Warzone Pacific & Vanguard Season 2 officially delayed

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2 has officially been delayed after devs share community update.

Published

on

It seems the Call of Duty devs have got a lot on their plate at the moment, causing them to delay the release of Warzone Pacific & Vanguard Season 2.

Warzone & Vanguard have had a lot of updates over the past couple of weeks, including the mid-season patch which looked to solve a lot of the game’s performance issues.

Despite improvements and better communication from the devs when it comes to sharing what they’re working on, Season 2 has been officially delayed to give them more time to work on fixes.

Call of Duty announced over on Twitter that Season 2 of Warzone and Vanguard has officially been delayed from the February 1 released date to February 14.

With all the crazy news coming out recently regarding Microsoft’s plans to purchase Activision, which includes Call of Duty, this probably won’t come as much of a shock to the community, especially given all the current performance issues.

While the devs recognize that they have “deployed a number of updates” recently to fix the issues, including a fix for the freezing Buy Station bug, they also recognize “that more needs to be done.”

The main reason for Season 2 of Warzone and Vanguard being delayed is in order for the devs to continue improving the gameplay experience. Many players will likely be happy that the season is being delayed, as another big update to the game might just cause even more issues and further frustration.

As more information is released regarding Season 2 of Vanguard and Warzone Pacific, we’ll be sure to cover it. For now, check out how much money Warzone makes.

Here’s everything we know about Vanguard Season 2, including its start date, expected content, and what Treyarch has in store for Zombies.

Vanguard Season 1 end date

Vanguard Season 1’s mid-season update is live, with the season set to end on February 14, 2022 after a delay was announced via the Call of Duty Twitter account.

As of now, it remains to be seen if the delay will push the Season 1 Battle Pass expiry date to February 14 but we’ll be sure to update this section when we have more information.

Vanguard Season 2 release date & time

Following the announcement of a slight delay, Vanguard Season 2 is expected to begin on February 14 as opposed to February 1.

Significant Call of Duty updates usually arrive at 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET / 5 AM GMT, but Sledgehammer Games should provide an exact time nearer the date.

What’s included in Vanguard Season 2?

Sledgehammer Games haven’t announced everything they have in store for Season 2 yet, but we can take an educated guess based on previous seasons’ content.

  • New weapons
  • New Operators
  • New & remastered maps
  • New & returning game modes
  • Themed-event with challenges & rewards

Vanguard Season 2 Zombies content

Vanguard’s Zombies mode has been slammed by the community for its lack of classic features, but developers Treyarch provided an update ahead of the mid-Season 1 update.

They revealed that they’ll finally bring the Main Quest Easter Egg in Season 2, add “multiple Wonder Weapons,” and bring players to “the Dark Aether itself in a completely original location crafted for Vanguard Zombies.”

Here’s everything Treyarch teased for Vanguard Zombies Season 2:

  • New hub map
  • Dark Aether-themed map
  • Multiple Wonder Weapons

How to fix Vanguard’s “right stick not working” glitch

Here’s how you can quickly fix the CoD: Vanguard glitch that causes the right stick to stop working on your controller.

Published

on

A major Call of Duty: Vanguard glitch is causing the right stick to completely stop working mid-game for controller players, but thankfully, there is a way you can quickly fix it.

Vanguard players have had to deal with their fair share of bugs and glitches. These all have different effects on the game, such as making the High Alert perk stronger despite receiving a nerf, or letting players levitate.

Now, players that use controllers are encountering a new issue that causes the right stick to stop working. This leaves them with nothing to do but to keep running straight ahead, putting them at a serious disadvantage with no ability to aim.

Here’s how you can get around this Vanguard glitch.

Vanguard’s “right stick not working” glitch

The right stick glitch occurs when CoD: Vanguard automatically changes your input settings from controller to mouse and keyboard. This causes your controller to disconnect mid-game.

Once the controller reconnects, the right stick stops working entirely. This prevents you from looking around and aiming. Instead, all you’ll be able to do is keep running forward and shooting.

How to fix Vanguard’s “right stick not working” glitch

The first way to get around this glitch is to hit right on your controller’s D-pad. This button helps the game detect that the player is using a controller to play instead of a mouse and keyboard.

If this doesn’t work, then there are other methods that you can try out. Some players have reported that the right stick issue gets fixed after getting killed. This can ruin the match, but you’ll regain control of your Operator.

The final method that you can try out is to turn off the game altogether. Booting CoD: Vanguard back up will cause your controller to function properly again. You should also make sure that your controller is fully charged.
