Call of Duty: Vanguard returns to WWII, bringing an arsenal of classic weapons to multiplayer and Warzone. Here’s every confirmed weapon arriving with Vanguard’s launch in November.

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s story will take players to various theaters of WWII with North Africa, the Western Front, the Pacific, and the Eastern Front taking center stage.

This will allow for a wide range of weaponry, with fan-favorite German, British, and Japanese weapons available to upgrade and customize through the expanded Gunsmith System.

After Vanguard’s reveal, we’ve seen a complete campaign walkthrough, as well as had an entire weekend to play in the Alpha. This has revealed plenty of the upcoming weapons that will be available in Vanguard’s multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons list

Vanguard’s Alpha is now over, and it’s given players a strong taste of the game’s mechanics and weaponry. Champion Hill allowed players to use and upgrade several classic weapons, every one of which we’ve listed below.

Some players also got a pop-up that they had unlocked the M1 Bazooka while playing the Alpha. This is a staple for any WWII game, so we’ve included it in this list.

There was also the reveal trailer, which showed off the many theaters of war that Vanguard covers. Through this, we’ve been able to spot several Vanguard weapons that weren’t available in the Alpha but were available in the Beta and will likely be in the full game.

When is Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded? New SMG & Sphere map

The next major update for Vanguard is Season 3 Reloaded, so here’s everything we know including the new SMG, map, and release date.

Published

on

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s next major update will be Season 3 Reloaded, bringing a brand-new SMG to both multiplayer and Warzone, as well as the new Sphere map. Here’s everything we know about Vanguard’s mid-season update, including its release date.

Vanguard Season 3 is approaching its halfway point, with the majority of players having had time to unlock the new Nikita AVT Assault Rifle and M1916 Marksman Rifle, and earn a few of the new Ranked Play rewards.

Season 4 is next-up, but before that update, Season 3 Reloaded arrives. This update is set to bring a new SMG and a new multiplayer map, so here’s everything we know including its official release date.

When is Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded?

The devs announced that the Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded update will arrive on May 24 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM PT / 6 PM BST, with access to the new content to appear in-game on May 25 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.

Considering May 25 is halfway between the Battle Pass‘ start and end dates, the official release date makes sense.

H4 Blixen SMG arrives in Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded

The H4 Blixen SMG will be the final of four Warzone and Vanguard Season 3 weapons to arrive following the midseason update. If you’re interested in testing the weapon, check out our guide on how to unlock H4 Blixen SMG in Vanguard.

The devs revealed that the weapon is a slow-firing SMG that performs incredibly well at medium-range. While fast SMGs tend to be preferred in Vanguard, the H4 Blixen could turn out to be a top Warzone weapon.

Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded brings Sphere map

Vanguard’s Season 3 update brought the chaotic Mayhem map, styled after a Godzilla-themed movie set, and the Season 3 Reloaded update is set to bring the Sphere map.

Sphere will take the action to an underground weapons lab hidden beneath a coal mine. It seems players will have to juggle between two floors of the map. On the top floor, players can find the remnants of a coal-mining village. Meanwhile, the secrets of the weapons lab are hidden underground on the bottom floor.

New Vanguard Operator Kim Tae Young

The third and final member of Task Force Harpy will be coming to Vanguard alongside the midseason update.

The new H4 Blixen SMG is her preferred weapon, which means you’ll want to enter the battle as Kim Tae Young if you want level up the weapon as fast as possible.

And that’s everything we know about Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded so far! Keep an eye out for the update on May 24 and the in-game content on May 25, you can also check out everything we know about Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded update.

How to unlock H4 Blixen SMG in Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded brings the new H4 Blixen SMG, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it when it arrives.

Published

The H4 Blixen SMG is one of the brand-new weapons arriving during Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded, so here’s when it’s set to arrive and how you’ll be able to unlock it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is almost here, bringing a new map, Operator, and of course, a new weapon. The M1916 Marksman Rifle and the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle arrived as part of the Battle Pass, but a new SMG is set to arrive with the midseason update.

‘Classified Arms’ is Season 3’s theme, and the devs really kept info concerning the H4 Blixen SMG classified. However, we do know when it will arrive, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it in both Warzone and Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded.

How to unlock H4 Blixen in Warzone & Vanguard

You will be able to unlock the H4 Blixen by getting three slide kills in a single match 15 times. This SMG-based challenge is great for players who love to get around the map with the slide movement mechanic.

Later in Season 3, players could also purchase a Store Bundle that features a Blixen Weapon Blueprint. The H4 Blixen won’t be available until Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 Reloaded content goes live on May 25.

Each Vanguard season has brought a new SMG in the Reloaded update, such as the Welgun in Season 1 and the Armaguerra in Season 2 Reloaded. These two weapons quickly became powerhouses, so we expect the H4 Blixen to be the same.

In a May 23 blog post, the devs claimed that the H4 Blixen can rival the dominant Owen Gun, “the H4 Blixen delivers a reliable three-shot kill at a farther range than the Owen Gun, albeit with a slower rate of fire. It also has three more bullets per standard magazine and slightly better Vertical Recoil Control, Aim Down Sight (ADS) speed, and reload quickness.”

Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded content revealed: Underground Transit System, new Warzone items, more

The official Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded content plan has been revealed, and it is full of exciting features to enjoy.

Published

on

Season 3 Reloaded of Vanguard and Warzone Pacific is expected to release on May 25 and the new Season 3 Reloaded content plan has offered a glimpse at what players can expect.

Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 Reloaded is right around the corner and the midseason update will deliver a ton of new content for players to enjoy. Warzone players in particular have a ton of exciting new features to look forward to.

A new LTM will be making its way to Season 3 Reloaded, alongside a new Rebirth Island feature, a new Warzone Perk, and several new items that are bound to shake up the battle royale. Here’s a breakdown of the Vanguard and Warzone content set to arrive with the Season 3 Reloaded update.

Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded content

Kim Tae Young Operator

The final member of Task Force Harpy will hit Vanguard and Warzone on May 25. Her preferred weapon is the new H4 Blixen SMG, so if you’re looking to level up the weapon as fast as possible, you’ll want to fight as Kim Tae Young.

The masked figure has a reputation as a folk hero and keeper of justice. To unlock Kim Tae Young in Season 3 Reloaded, players must purchase her bundle.

H4 Blixen SMG

Vanguard players will get to test out a new SMG when the Season 3 Reloaded content goes live on May 25. The devs explained that the H4 Blixen is the ideal SMG for medium-range gunfights.

It is indeed a slow-firing SMG and the devs even compare it to the Owen Gun. If comparisons turn out to be accurate, the H4 Blixen could be just as lethal in Warzone.

If the H4 Blixen can rival the Owen Gun it could possibly take over the SMG meta, but the devs have warned of its tricky recoil pattern. Nonetheless, you can check out our guide on how to unlock the H4 Blixen if you’re eager to test the weapon after the update.

New Vanguard map Sphere

As teased in the Season 3 update, Vanguard players will receive a brand-new map to enjoy alongside Mayhem. Sphere is an underground weapons lab with multiple floors to discover.

“Operators who best navigate the various ins and outs between the upper and lower environments are likely to gain the upper hand in combat, no matter the mode.”

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded content

Vanguard’s Serpentine Perk coming to Warzone

Following the Classified Arms Reloaded update, Serpentine will be available as a Perk 1 in Warzone Pacific. The Perk is described as follows:

“Sprinting reduces incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire by 20%.”

This Perk is made to counter Sniper Rifles from one shot killing players at a considerable distance. If you use the Serpentine Perk and are actively on the move, even a Sniper from long-range can’t take you out before you have time to react.

Thanks to a “snake” indicator, the shooter will know when they hit someone with the Serpentine Perk equipped.

Underground Transit System in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Warzone Classified Arms Reloaded will introduce a new way to travel across Caldera. Players will soon be able to travel around the island via an underground mine cart. The method of transportation only takes a few seconds before you arrive at your next destination.

In other words, this new instant way to travel across Caldera can change the way you rotate and plan your victory. There will be 14 access points that players can discover across the map so make sure to get acquainted with the locations.

“Those in the know can use light and audio clues to figure out if an enemy is on the other side, or if the circle collapse will soon engulf the destination. As with most situations, when there is a green light, it means it’s safe. Anything else can mean potential danger, and if the indicator is off with gas going through the vents, then that means you cannot travel to that destination.”

New Warzone items

Gulag Entry Token

The Gulag Entry Token will give players another shot at entering the Gulag.

“If you perish while holding a Gulag Entry Token, you will be sent back to the Gulag rather than needing to be bought back or be eliminated from the game.”

Redeploy Extraction Token

The Redeploy Extraction Token is an item “that grants an automatic redeploy without any need to visit the Gulag or to be bought back at a Buy Station.”

According to the devs, the Redeploy Extraction Token is quite a rare find, so don’t expect to find one every match.

Speed Boost

This item will automatically provide players with a temporary movement buff when picked up. Players who love to finesse enemies with movement should keep an eye out for the Speed Boost.

Radar Jammer

“The Radar Jammer is a Field Upgrade that scrambles the Tac Map of enemy players and prevents Killstreaks for anyone within a short radius.”

It’ll be up to players to find creative uses for this powerful Field Upgrade that could prove vital during the late game.

High Value Loot Zones

It seems Operation Monarch was used to test High Value Loot Zones across Caldera, as the feature will now appear in standard Battle Royale games. These high-risk, high-reward locations are sure to get the blood pumping.

You can check where these areas are located by opening your Tac Map or looking at your minimap. This is one way that the devs wish to give players more opportunities to access rare items and cash that will lead to a quick loadout.

Champion of Caldera LTM

Champion of Caldera will act as an LTM for Solo players. The Champion of Caldera LTM will be available on May 25 and will feature 150 player lobbies.

As the name would suggest, the goal is quite simple: claim the Champion of Caldera title as your own. Luckily, players will start the match with their Custom Loadout, a Gas Mask, and a single Redeploy Extraction Token.

If you’re looking for a high-octane and fast-paced Solo playlist then you’ll want to give Champion of Caldera a try.

“Kills in this game mode immediately refill player health, equipment, and ammo, incentivizing would-be Champions to play aggressively and eliminate the competition directly to have the best chance at victory.”

Rebirth Island Occupation Scan In-Game Event

It seems that Rebirth Island players will need to remain on high alert throughout the coming weeks with a new mechanic being introduced that can reveal your position to enemies.

“At some point during standard Rebirth Resurgence matches, Operators may be alerted of an Occupation Scan. At this point, they will need to go prone or else their position will be revealed to every other player on the Tac Map and minimap.”

The Season 3 Reloaded blog also teased a mysterious Rebirth Island event that could arrive sometime throughout Season 3, or perhaps we’ll have to wait until Season 4 for this exciting content.
