Gorenko Vanguard Season 1

The Gorenko Sniper Rifle is one of five new weapons coming to Vanguard in Season 1. Here are the best attachments and Perks to create the best Gorenko loadout.

Players can expect to get their hands on a ton of new content throughout Vanguard Season 1 including maps, Operators, and Perks.

Of course, Vanguard players will also be able to test out several new weapons. Five new weapons will make their way to Vanguard over the course of Season 1. One of these is the extremely powerful Gorenko Sniper Rifle

This Anti-Tank Rifle packs a punch and as its name suggests it is fully capable of penetrating sturdy defenses. These are the best attachments and perks to create the best Gorenko loadout.

Best Vanguard Gorenko class

Gorenko attachments
  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: 240MM ZAC Rapid
  • Stock: ZAC Custom Precision
  • Underbarrel: GF-59 Flashlight
  • Magazine: 13MM AM 10 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Focus
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

These attachments are meant to boost ADS speed and accuracy. Most Sniper Rifles in Vanguard are naturally slow to aim in. The Fabric Grip and 240MM ZAC Rapid increase movement speed and ADS speed. This will prevent you from getting caught in an unfavorable position.

Meanwhile, the weapon’s noticeable recoil needs to be tamed. The F8 Stabilizer and Zac Custom Precision stock will contribute to stabilizing this weapon’s recoil. With these attachments, players will be able to lock in some important double kills. Increased damage range and accuracy will also come into play with these attachments.

The GF-59 Flashlight is one of the most important attachments for the Gorenko. It will highlight enemy nameplates at a greater distance. This is essential for Sniper players who look to deal damage from a distance.

The 13MM 10 Round Mags should ensure that you won’t require a reload too often. With 10 rounds at your disposal, you can cause a ton of destruction before needing to reload. Fully Loaded will give you all the ammo you’ll ever need. While FMJ Rounds will further increase the damage potential of this weapon by being more effective through walls.

Sniper players are usually easy targets due to their inability to move freely when aiming down sight. Focus will reduce flinch from enemy bullets ensuring that you nail your target when engaged in a gunfight.

Best Perks to use with Vanguard Gorenko

Gorenko best perks
  • Perk 1: Intuition
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Double Time

Intuition is one of two new Perks that have arrived in Season 1. This perk will alert players when enemies are nearby, even through walls. Sniper players often leave their backs wide open due to their focus on what’s ahead of them. This Perk will activate and alert Sniper players when an enemy is trying to flank their power position.

Forward Intel will let you know where to aim the Gorenko as it reveals enemy spawn locations. Lastly, Double Time will allow you to get to those power positions as quickly as possible.

How to unlock Gorenko in Vanguard

Gorenko Vanguard unlock

Unlocking the Gorenko is a simple task. Players must reach Tier 31 in the Battle Pass in order to unlock the Sniper Rifle. Battle Pass progression increases by playing Vanguard and Warzone Pacific.

As with most seasons, players who are not interested in grinding toward Tier 31 can purchase Battle Pass skips which will make unlocking the Gorenko easier.

Best Vanguard Gorenko alternatives

While the Gorenko is powerful, it doesn’t necessarily suit fast players who aim to quickscope their way to success. If you’re looking for a more mobile Sniper Rifle, the Kar98k is an excellent choice.

If you’re still looking for a long-range weapon but Sniper Rifles aren’t for you, check out the Automaton Assault Rifle

It will be interesting to see how the new weapons arriving in Season 1 stack up against the current weapons. The Gorenko’s damage range and power will likely make it an ideal choice for Warzone Pacific
