Best ITRA Burst loadout for CoD: Vanguard
The ITRA Burst is a powerful and unique weapon in Call of Duty Vanguard, so here are the best attachments and Perks you can use to create the ideal loadout.
Call of Duty: Vanguard has a variety of weapons to choose from, making it hard to take your pick. One of the most unique additions is the ITRA Burst, a four-round burst Assault Rifle that can be unlocked fairly early.
Here are the attachments and Perks you should run with your ITRA Burst loadout in Vanguard’s Multiplayer.
Best ITRA Burst Vanguard loadout attachments

This Vanguard ITRA Burst loadout combines accuracy and mobility, allowing you to beam enemies across the map but still hold your own when caught at closer ranges.
We’re starting with the Recoil Booster muzzle for the ITRA. Don’t be deceived by its name though, it actually increases the weapons fire rate, rather than affecting recoil. When using a burst gun such as this, a higher fire rate makes it much more forgiving.
And next, we’ve added the Botti 30MM CXII barrel. There are no better choices to use with the ITRA, as this barrel removes any damage drop-off. You’ll get an extremely useful 40% buff to bullet velocity, but it will also have unlimited range.
For optics, it’s up to your own personal preference. However, we don’t recommend anything with high zoom, as you’ll struggle to fight up-close. We recommend the MK 3 Sunfilter as its 1.5x zoom and idle sway control are extremely useful for all ranges.
For the stock, the Botti DII Grip gives a solid boost to both ADS speed and recoil control without affecting the sprint-to-fire time. Then, the M1941 Handstop improves both horizontal and vertical recoil control without changing that all-important sprint-to-fire time.
As a Magazine, 8MM Jaeger 32 Round Drums don’t come with any major negatives, making them the best option. You’ll have a slightly slower reload, but it will be worth it for the extra bullets at your disposal.
Next up, the Lengthened ammo type is a must for this Assault Rifle. Its bullet velocity will improve by a whopping 30%, allowing your bursts to land almost instantly. After that, the Fabric Grip will speed up both ADS and sprint-to-fire time, with only a minor nerf to horizontal recoil control. Horizontal is much less impactful than vertical, so you should barely notice a difference.
For the ITRA Burst’s kit, we recommend On-Hand, as you’ll be able to use the weapon again after throwing equipment. And its Proficiency, Vital is extremely useful, allowing you to one-burst enemies in the chest.
Best Perks to run with ITRA Burst in Vanguard
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Demolition
Ghost is a staple Call of Duty Perk, and it’s just as effective in Vanguard. While moving, you’ll be hidden from enemy intel such a Spy Planes so you can pull off some effective flanks.
Next, Radar brings the return of the traditional minimap. You’ll see unsuppressed gunfire on the minimap, giving you much more information to work with. And finally, Demolition gives you extra lethal equipment and you can see its flight path.
How to unlock the ITRA Burst in Vanguard
The ITRA Burst is unlocked by players when they reach Level 16 in the Multiplayer.
This is a fairly early level to reach in Vanguard and shouldn’t take even casual players too long to get to. So, if you’re a player who loves using burst weapons in Call of Duty, the ITRA Burst is a great early weapon option.
Best alternatives to Vanguard ITRA Burst
Luckily, Vanguard includes several other powerful choices. The STG44 quickly became recognized as a fan-favorite choice and the Volk is also an effective Assault Rifle. Or, if you’re looking for something for more up-close, you can’t go wrong with the MP-40.
