Best SVT-40 loadout for CoD: Vanguard
Call of Duty: Vanguard’s SVT-40 has major one-hit-kill capabilities, and to make sure you’re getting every bit of juice out of this Marksman Rifle, equip all the right attachments and Perks with our best SVT-40 loadout in Vanguard.
TTK is a major thing when it comes down to Assault Rifles and SMGs as everyone wants the fastest-killing guns to better conquer lobbies.
When it comes to Sniper Rifles and Marksman Rifles though, players want to dispense with this and equip a one-hit-kill weapon that comes at the expense of fire rate.
The SVT-40 is more than capable of delivering these qualities, and to give yourself the best SVT-40, our Vanguard loadout will point you in the right direction where Perks and attachments are concerned.
Best Vanguard SVT-40 loadout
Vanguard SVT-40 Gunsmith loadout attachments
- Muzzle: G28 Compensator
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 800MM BO3
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Empress Crown
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 7.62x54MMR 15 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Subsonic
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Proficiency: Vital
- Kit: Fully Loaded
We want the SVT-40 under control, so the G28 Compensator muzzle and the Kovalevskaya 800MM BO3 barrel will do that, with the added bonus of the barrel giving a “Larger One-Hit-Kill Area.”
The Slate Reflector is a lovely, clean optic, the Empress Crown stock restores a ton of the gun’s speed and mobility, and the M1941 Hand Stop tightens up its accuracy.

We want lots of bullets to fire, so the 7.62x54MMR 15 Round Mags fit the criteria and don’t reduce damage like the 6.5 Sakura 15 Round Mags do. Subsonic ammo keeps us from appearing on the minimap, and the Fabric Grip increases all kinds of speed stats – including ADS.
Finishing off this best SVT-40 loadout in Vanguard is the Vital proficiency, which increases the size of critical hit areas on enemies, and Fully Loaded ensures you won’t run out of ammo if you’re on a hot streak.
Best Perks to run with the SVT-40 in Vanguard
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Overkill
Ghost does its usual job of keeping you hidden on the minimap from Spy Planes and, combined with Subsonic rounds, this makes you rather sneaky and hidden.
Perk 2 is quite straightforward as we favor Radar for the SVT-40 as we want all the information we can get on nearby foes in Vanguard.
Finally, to make sure you’re fully equipped for any battle situation, Overkill allows us to equip another primary weapon to go with the SVT-40. So a handy Type 100 or MP-40 SMG would be great for close-range skirmishes.
How to unlock the SVT-40 in Vanguard
Using the quickest ways to level up yourself and weapons in Vanguard, it shouldn’t take you long to reach the weapon’s Level 27 unlock requirement.
The weapon does have 70 weapon levels to get through, so we’d recommend using JGOD’s method to quickly grind the SVT-40 until you’ve unlocked our recommended attachments.
Best alternatives to SVT-40
The G-43 is another pretty amazing Marksman Rifle in this category, but if you’re after something with a faster fire rate, then you can’t go wrong with the Automaton.
