Best Whitley loadout for Vanguard Season 2
The Whitley LMG only arrives at the start of Vanguard Season 2, but the weapon can already be tested in Private Matches. This gives us an early look at the weapon, so here’s the best Whitley loadout for Season 2.
Although the Vanguard Season 2 update is currently available for download, the content does not go live until February 14. This means that the new maps and weapons can only be tested through Private Matches. Both the Whitley LMG and KG M40 Assault Rifle will be available for free through the Season 2 Battle Pass.
Here are all of the attachments, Perks, and Equipment you need to make the best Whitley LMG class in Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 2.

Best Vanguard Whitley loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: 20″ Ragdoll RE2
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Gracey EK8
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: .30-06 45 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Proficiency: Icy Veins
- Kit: On-Hand
Thankfully, this LMG isn’t all that heavy and with the right attachments, we can turn the Whitley into a powerful and accurate Season 2 killing machine. For starters, we’ll max out this weapon’s firepower with the Recoil Booster, 20″ Ragdoll RE2, and Lengthened ammo type.
Next, we’ll focus on improving accuracy and recoil control with the M1941 Hand Stop, Polymer Grip, and the Gracey EK8 stock. This stock will also improve ADS speed which is vital for LMGs.

Given LMGs take a considerable amount of time to reload we’ll look to increase reload speed with the .30-06 45 Round Mags and Icy Veins proficiency. Icy Veins also increases accuracy and recoil control while injured. The Slate Reflector is an ideal optic for Vanguard Multiplayer while On-Hand will increase your Equipment using speed.
Best Perks & Equipment to use with Vanguard Whitley
- Perk 1: Fortified
- Perk 2: Piercing Vision
- Perk 3: Lightweight
- Lethal Equipment: Sticky Bomb
- Tactical Equipment: Stun Grenade
Although this LMG isn’t the heaviest of Vanguard’s bunch we’ll still need the Lightweight Perk to make it feel more like an Assault Rifle. You’ll want to be difficult to take down thus the Fortified Perk will let you absorb hits from enemy explosives.

Next, we have Piercing Vision which will increase your ability to lock down kills. Given this loadout isn’t the quickest, Piercing Vision will prevent faster players from escaping your sight.
The Sticky Bomb is back in a Call of Duty game and veterans will know just how effective they are at getting players out of power positions. Meanwhile, the Stun Grenade will disorient enemy players leaving them susceptible to your LMG.
