Call of Duty: Vanguard gameplay premiere shows off insane Stalingrad Campaign mission
Call of Duty: Vanguard has been officially revealed, and fans were treated to an insane campaign mission during the gameplay premiere for the upcoming game.
After months of leaks and rumors, Call of Duty: Vanguard was officially revealed after an explosive Warzone live event. This game will take both the series and Warzone to the Second World War and explore the rise of the Special Forces.
There are plenty of things to be excited about, with 20 maps at launch, Treyarch continuing the Zombies storyline, and photo-realistic graphics.
Fans have been clamoring to see some gameplay, and they were treated to the first footage of the game in action with the Call of Duty: Vanguard gameplay premiere that took place during Gamescom 2021 on August 25.

The panel featured both Sledgehammer Games and esteemed voice actor Laura Bailey, who plays protagonist Polina Petrova. To name only a couple of her projects, Bailey is well-known for voicing Abby in the Last of Us Part 2 and Mary Jane Watson in Marvel’s Spider-Man.
As for the campaign walkthrough itself, it was a showcase of all the technical and graphical improvements we can expect in Call of Duty: Vanguard, as Bailey’s character Polina had to survive a dangerous situation in a destroyed Stalingrad that had been attacked by German forces.
The Call of Duty: Vanguard gameplay premiere gave players a taste of the game’s destructible environments while showing off various weapons being used, including the STG-44 and Kar98k.

Sledgehammer confirmed that Vanguard will run on Modern Warfare and Warzone’s engine, which will take advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles’ power which was on display during the Stalingrad mission shown off during Gamescom 2021 in an adrenaline-fueled display.
