Call of Duty issued a response to all the performance issues players are currently experiencing in both Warzone and Vanguard.

Along with the mid-season update for Warzone and Vanguard, which introduced loads of new content such as the Welgun and a variety of buffs and nerfs, the devs have now issued a detailed response to the community’s frustrations.

There have been a lot of issues in Warzone and Vanguard since the two games were linked, but it’s great to actually get some detailed communication from the devs in response to the issues that players have been experiencing.

Here’s what they had to say.

Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 1

In Call of Duty‘s latest tweet titled “A message to our community,” the developers conveyed just how hard the team is working at providing fixes to a variety of issues.

The post contained details of the latest implemented changes and known issues being worked on for both Warzone and Vanguard.

In the short message, the developers make it clear that the team is “hard at work addressing the issues that are being experienced across Vanguard, Warzone, and Modern Warfare. Updates are being deployed as quickly as possible.”

When it comes to Warzone some of the issues mentioned as ones that they are working on include:

  • Console performance
  • Invisible skins
  • Buy Stations

These issues, especially the Buy Station freezing problems and console performance have been at the center of recent player frustrations in the community.

Just this week players were clowning the number of issues on console, so it’s great to get confirmation that the devs are working on fixes.

As for Vanguard, there have been quite a few issues that players have been disappointed with, especially as recent updates haven’t exactly eased player frustrations with Incendiary Grenades.

The post mentioned an abundance of issues that the dev team is working on:

  • Weapons & Equipment
    • Shotgun nerfs and smoke reduction.
  • Killstreaks
    • Attack Dog fixes.
  • Perks
  • Modes
    • Accuracy of Quick Play filters and diversity of maps.
  • Matchmaking
    • Party-disconnect issue
  • Zombies

It’s clear that the Call of Duty developers are working on having better communication with the players. This is definitely a step towards that, but up next is for these updates to be complete.

We’ll be sure to update the community on when these fixes have been issued. For now, check out why players are praising Warzone’s latest playlist update.
