CoD: Vanguard players very excited over how Ghost perk works in Champion Hill Alpha
With the latest details from Sledgehammer Games, players finally have more of an understanding of the Champion Hill mode and how the ghost perk will work.
Call of Duty: Vanguard was recently revealed to fans, even showing off gameplay from a campaign mission at the Gamescom event on August 25, getting players even more excited to get hands-on with the game.
For those on PlayStation playing Call of Duty: Vanguard will be much closer than the Open Beta, as the Alpha goes live on August 27, 10 AM PST.
In fact, some information revealed by Sledgehammer got players excited for how the Ghost perk will work in Champion Hill.
Champion Hill is Vanguard’s new game mode which will be relatively similar to Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War’s Gunfight, featuring 2v2 and 3v3 matches.
The main difference is that players will need to buy their loadouts, similarly to CSGO and Apex Legends’ Arenas mode.
In the latest blog from Sledgehammer, the perks, weapons, and equipment for the Champion Hill Alpha were revealed, which sparked excitement.
How Ghost will work in Call of Duty: Vanguard
Reddit user Brilliant_Surprise_3 posted their excitement for how the Ghost perk will work in the mode, “Just an FYI, Ghost in the game will be like black ops so that you have to be moving.”
Ghost has always been a notoriously great perk in Call of Duty, but there has been a slight difference between Call of Duty games for how the perk actually works.
To many players’ surprise, the Ghost perk will work similarly to how it does in Black Ops games, where the player will need to stay moving to remain hidden from “Spy Planes, enemy intel, and Field Mics.”
The player states this change gives hope for those who love “rushing COD AND tactical cod,” especially if “Dead Silence/Ninja is a perk or at the very least is extremely easy to get.”
It will be interesting to see what the other perks in Vanguard will look like and how they will work compared to other titles.
