A wealth of information regarding Call of Duty: Vanguard has revealed itself following the multiplayer reveal, including the fact that there will be a Vanguard Console FOV slider.

The official multiplayer reveal for Call of Duty: Vanguard has taken place, opening the door for a flood of information into the community.

This information includes all of the weapons, streaks, field upgrades, and more in the Vanguard Open Beta, how players will need a perk to show enemies on their minimap, and more.

However, one of the most exciting reveals for the new Call of Duty game on September 7, 2021, was the confirmation that there will be a Call of Duty: Vanguard console FOV Slider when the game launches, much to the joy of the players who call console home in the Call of Duty community.

Taking to his Twitter account, Adam Iscove, Senior Development Director at Sledgehammer Games, posted an image of the new Call of Duty’s settings page, which showed off a Vanguard console FOV Slider.

This official confirmation of a Console FOV slider was met with a great deal of excitement and joy from the community, as a major complaint from the game’s Alpha was the fact that it did not have a FOV Slider for consoles, which was met with disappointment as Black Ops Cold War had one.

With the addition of cross-play in Modern Warfare that has now carried over to Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard, console players have been very vocal over their desire to have a FOV Slider like their PC counterparts.

Luckily, now they will be able to customize their field of view exactly how they want when they jump into the adrenaline-fueled action of the newest Call of Duty game.

Even though Open Beta will not have a FOV Slider for consoles, it has now been fortunately confirmed that there will indeed be a Console FOV Slider when the next entry in the fan-favorite franchise launches on November 5, 2021.
