CoD: Vanguard Zombies map name and details leaked
As we edge closer to Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release, the community has revealed leaks surrounding the game’s Zombies mode, giving players an idea of what to expect at launch.
These Vanguard Zombies leaks come just after the first Multiplayer Beta weekend and before the second weekend which will begin September 17.
Although much of the Call of Duty community’s focus is usually on the Multiplayer, the dedicated Zombies’ fans will be happy to hear there are finally some leaked details surrounding Vanguard’s Zombies mode.
Call of Duty Vanguard developers Sledgehammer Games isn’t new to creating a Zombies experience, as they produced their version of Nazi Zombies back in Call of Duty: WWII.
Having said that, it is confirmed that Treyarch will be helping with the development of Vanguard’s Zombies mode, so it could potentially feel very familiar to the classic Zombies everybody is used to, apart from the use of Modern Warfare’s engine.
The latest leaks hint at the possible name of the round-based map we could be seeing in Call of Duty: Vanguard, as Twitter user Okami13_ revealed that it is rumored to be called “Ritual of the Dead.”
Unfortunately, another renowned Call of Duty leaker has shared a rumor that the first round-based map won’t actually be available for players on launch, however, there may still be Zombies content for players to enjoy at launch.
Twitter user TheMW2Ghost put up a post stating that “the first proper Round Based map will come with #Vanguard Season 1, not at launch, but — there will be zombie content day 1.”
This content is described by TheMW2Ghost as if “Outbreak, Onslaught, and Roundbased had a baby.” There’s no telling exactly how this content will play, we’ll have to wait for more information as we edge closer to release.
Although this may be disappointing to some, it’s still great to hear that there will be content for Zombies fans on day 1, especially as it sounds like something that will be new to players.
