After countless complaints surrounding Vanguard’s visibility, players have discovered a tip to liven up their surroundings.

The player consensus surrounding Call of Duty: Vanguard is mostly a positive one. So far, players are enjoying the fun and chaotic multiplayer experience. Much has been made of the numerous bugs and glitches discovered up until now.

There’s no doubt Sledgehammer will address most of these in an upcoming patch which will make the game that much more enjoyable. One thing you probably shouldn’t expect a fix for is the poor visibility that most are experiencing.

How to adjust Vanguard visibility

Luckily, there is a simple trick to improving visibility in Vanguard. All you need to do is go into your Settings and set the Color Filter to Filter 2.

  1. Got to Settings
  2. Head over to the Graphics tab
  3. Then on the Gameplay section you’ll find an option called “Color Customization,” this is what you need to change.

Once in Color Customization, you’ll find the option to set your Color Filter. Select Filter 2 and enjoy the new and improved visuals.

This year the weapon firing mechanics feel incredibly realistic. As a result, players sometimes have a hard time seeing elements on-screen when firing weapons. Changing this setting can slightly help with the issue.

The setting tweaks your Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) to enhance visual clarity. To clarify, Reddit user SD456 explains the change below.

Furthermore, the main impact of changing this setting will be to add a little life and color to the game. Players feel Vanguard looks a little bland and colorless on certain maps. Adjusting this setting will make Vanguard’s visuals feel less dull.

Unfortunately, some players have noted that this particular setting seems to reset every time they launch the game. Having a quick check to see if this is also happening to you can be worthwhile.
