How to get the Ray Gun in Vanguard Season 2
Ray Gun Method #1 – Mystery Boxes
If you want to get your hands on Vanguard’s Ray Gun Wonder Weapon then the first method is by opening Mystery Boxes that provide you with different weapons on both the Terra Maledicta and Der Anfang maps.

This Wonder Weapon can be found inside one of these and you’ll need to save at least 950 points by killing enemies before you can acquire it. You can improve your chances of finding the Ray Gun by doing this during a higher round.
However, there’s no guarantee that you’ll find it on the first spin, so you might have to spend a lot of points on Sniper Rifles and various other weapons before you finally get this Wonder Weapon.
Ray Gun Method #2 – Loot drops
Alternatively, if you want to get the Ray Gun for completely free then it can also be collected as a rare loot drop after taking out powerful undead enemies in Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies mode.

At the time of writing, there aren’t any other ways for you to unlock this powerful weapon such as completing a particular Quest, so you’ll need to stick with these two methods until you come across the Ray Gun.
How to use the Ray Gun in Vanguard Season 2
This powerful weapon is capable of firing 20 blasts before reloading and you can upgrade this to 40 with the Pack-a-Punch machine, letting you fire continuous shots that can tear undead enemies apart.
The Ray Gun also features a fairly quick reload time of 3 seconds and is effective at any range while boasting extremely low recoil, allowing you to eliminate Zombies quickly and accurately from a distance.
Aside from the return of the classic Ray Gun, the Season 2 Vanguard Zombies update has also added a brand-new Wonder Weapon in the form of the Decimator Shield, along with other fun content.
Vanguard’s Zombies mode was initially panned by the community for its lack of classic features, with our review calling it an “empty experience,” so this new content will hopefully make it more exciting.
