How to pre-order Vanguard: Special editions, prices & bonuses

The Vanguard release date is almost here, so if you want to pre-order the game, this guide will cover everything you need to know, including the digital pre-load times and special editions.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is releasing on November 5, and the upcoming title will bring a brand-new campaign, zombies mode,  multiplayer offering, perks, and RICOCHET anti-cheat system.

If you want to get into the action quickly then you can pre-order the game ahead of its release. In case you’re having trouble deciding which special edition you want to get, this guide has you covered.

Here’s every version of Vanguard you can pre-order along with the release of digital copies.

How to pre-order Vanguard

You can purchase Vanguard from various different retailers. Physical copies can be found in stores like Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, or Walmart. There are other retailers you can check as well.

The release day prices are the same in most places. You can get the standard previous-gen copies will for $59.99 while new-gen copies will cost $69.99. There are different special editions of Vanguard to choose from.

Vanguard will launch with a Standard Edition, Cross-Gen Bundle, and Ultimate Edition. The version that’s best for you is determined by a few different factors.

These include your current gaming platform, any future plans for purchasing a new-gen console, and whether or not you want to pick up the first Battle Pass. You must consider all of these before deciding what to pre-order.

Vanguard Digital pre-order

You can only purchase standard editions of Vanguard at physical stores. You’ll need to check digital storefronts for the Cross-Gen Bundle or the Ultimate Edition. Luckily, purchasing Vanguard digitally has its benefits.

You won’t need to leave your home to get the game, and you’ll be able to join the game as soon as the servers go live. While standard editions will cost the same as their physical copies, the Cross-Gen Bundle will cost you $69.99 and the Ultimate Edition is priced at $99.99.

Vanguard pre-load times

One of the benefits of pre-ordering the game is that you’ll be able to preload CoD: Vanguard so that you can jump right into the action when it finally arrives.

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players will be able to preload CoD: Vanguard on October 28 in North and South America at 9 PM PST/ 11 PM CST/ 12 AM EST (October 29). All other countries will be able to preload the game on October 29 at midnight local time.

Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S players will be able to preload on October 28 at 9 PM PST/ 11 PM CST/ 12 AM EST (October 29).

Another benefit to pre-ordering Vanguard is that you’ll gain access to some neat content like Operator skins, weapon blueprints, and bonus hours of Double XP.
